The Apple Family Farm is operated by Mark, Debbie, Brayden and Rhayna Apple. We are privileged to be the third and fourth generations to farm this land in McCordsville, Indiana. We believe that the future of farming must include a resurgence of the small family farm. Our neighbors should know where their food is coming from and be able to reconnect with neighborhood farms. Our customers have the privilege of buying eggs from the same farm that Viola Apple's customers visited during the 1930's and 40's.
We employ a natural approach to farming, without the use of chemicals, hormones or antibiotics. We raise chickens, sheep, beef and dairy cows. All of our animals are raised on pasture and are able to get all the grass and sunshine they need. All of our chickens are raised on grass with full access to our pastures to ensure healthier, better tasting meat and eggs . Most of our animals are rare breeds that are not well suited to high production farming but they fit in nicely with our philosophy of the smaller family farm.
Our customers enjoy being able to come to the farm to see how their food is raised. We are encouraged by the satisfaction that is expressed by our customers who appreciate the effort we take in providing healthy and delicious food.
